Caroline Coutu, O.D.

Caroline Coutu, OD is an Optometrist specializing in primary eye care, specialty contact lens fitting, ocular disease management, post-operative care, and comprehensive vision examinations. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Worcester, MA, and completed her undergraduate studies in Biological Sciences at the University of Rhode Island.

Dr. Coutu has completed clinical training at multiple prestigious institutions, including Providence Community Health Center, Providence VA, the Eye and Vision Center in Worcester, and Broward Eye Care where she specialized in scleral lens fittings for keratoconus and other corneal dystrophies. She has a special interest in specialty contact lens fitting and providing personalized eye care to diverse patient populations, helping patients see clearly and comfortably at every stage of life. Her expertise includes comprehensive eye examinations, contact lens evaluations, and patient education on vision care and ocular health. Dr. Coutu stays current with the latest advancements in eye care through ongoing education and professional development. 

Dr. Coutu is a member of the American Academy of Optometry and certified in glaucoma management. Dr. Coutu has been recognized for her academic excellence through membership in the Phi Kappa Phi and Beta Sigma Kappa honor societies. She maintains current CPR/BLS certification.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time outside, reading, and trying new restaurants in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
